The AUDACIOUS is the all-in-one dive light for photographers, cave divers, and divers who want the best of the best. We believe that this lamp has all conceivable functions that a diver needs.
The AUDACIOUS combines the best functions of the ARRAN, the CRUIT and the LAURENTIC. The color temperature in wide-cool mode is the same as the color temperature of the CRUIT and the older 5K Spot series. This results in a cost effective way to combine an ideal video / photography system with a great dive light. All you need now is the AUDACIOUS and the CRUIT on top of one of our heavy duty trays and a set of arms.
The existing Anchor canisters also work with this system.
With the AUDACIOUS, designed for cave divers and night divers, the wide beam and Spot can be used in combination. This is possible because the color temperature is the same in combination with our unique spot reflector design.
This lamp is also designed for creative underwater photographers because of the wide heat functions (CRI 85) and the wide cooling function (DRI 75).
8-degree spotlight, designed for cave divers, search and rescue, signaling, and all divers to look under rocks or wrecks.
The AUDACIOUS has 13 different modes Wide in three light intensities and two light temperatures. In addition, the lamp has a spotlight in three light intensities, red, blue, strobe light, and SOS. Due to the large number of settings, we have incorporated a memory function so that the lamp automatically switches on in the last used mode.
A strobe spot and a wide strobe. The wide strobe can be used as a 'shot-line marker', while the strobe spot can be used to draw attention from a long distance.
UV with a wavelength of 385-420nm. This means that hard and soft coral can be well lit.
Possibility to attach a ball to the lamp head itself, instead of the handle. This makes the video light more balanced and easy to use.
Goodman / Helmet mount - this allows the diver to make a direct connection between our Goodman handle or cave helmets and the lighthead. This makes the lamp more balanced and easier to use, despite the relatively large lamp head.
The ability to turn off the battery status indicator allows photographers to take pictures with slow shutter speeds without battery indicator failure.
The AUDACIOUS features the same “Knurled tail cap” as the LAURENTIC, complete with a fastening loop. This allows it to be used as a hand lamp, but also with our modular goodman glove and as a head lamp during cave diving.
The head of the AUDACIOUS is modular and works with all available canisters and video lights.
The burning time is 60 minutes at a power of 100%.
Battery indicator
LED Battery indicator:
Blue: more than 60% available;
Green: 30-60% available;
Red: 10-30% available;
Flashing red: less than 10% available.
With an extremely low battery power, the lamp switches off automatically to protect the battery. This protection guarantees the use of the same lamp for several dives without the need to replace the battery.
The light has a rechargeable 32650 Panasonic lithium battery.
It takes 6 hours to fully charge the empty battery with our 1A USB charger.
The battery is protected against overheating. The lamp switches itself off if the head gets too hot. This protects the LED lamp and the electronics.
The Double and Triple O-ring design guarantees watertightness, even in very deep waters.
The aviation grade anodized aluminum offers extra strength and durability.
